Lot Valuation Report

Like the Inventory Valuation Report, the Lot Valuation Report option allows the true current value of lotted items to be determined.

This is desirable because of the flexibility of Net•Yield, which allows you to ship product, but invoice later, and defer costing of shipped product until actual product costs are known (inventory holds).

The Lot Valuation Report can be generated for a single location or all locations and includes the lot and slot details of each item in the location; the sort order of the report is based on the Sort Lot Valuation Report setting in Inventory Options.

The report can be run as part of Close End of Day.

Available Actions Using Printing

 

Lot Valuation Report Fields
Location Select one, several or ALL LOCATIONS to run the report for.
Sort By

Select a sort order for the report:

  • Location - Item - Lot
  • Item - Location - Lot
  • Location - Lot
(S)ummary or (D)etail

Select S (S=summary) to print a summary report, select D (D=detail) to generate a detailed report that includes all lots for the item in the location.
Slot Detail (Y/N)

Enter Y (Y=yes) to include the slot detail for the lot if the location is slotted, select N (N=no) to report on the lot balance only.
